Hi Olivia, your hut looks amazing. I remember my children spending hours making huts when they were little. They used to hold the blankets up using pegs and piles of books. Did you do this too? During the lock down I have done a lot of cleaning, tidying and sewing. What have you been doing with your family??
ReplyDeleteHi Olivia,
ReplyDeleteHuts are the greatest!!! I remember using all my Mums sheets from the linen cupboard and our kitchen table and chairs to create my own hut with my sister. I'm sure there may even be a photo of it somewhere. I may have to ask my mum if she has it. I can't wait to read about all the other cool things you get up to over these holidays.

Hi Olivia
ReplyDeleteGreat effort with your hut. Your dolls look very cosy.
I have made many huts in my time and have even slept overnight in them with my daughter and son. If I am honest I prefer sleeping in my bed to sleeping in a sleeping bag. In my family we used to call this camping indoors.
I look forward to your next blog post.
Kind regards
Mr R
Your hut is very special Olivia! Whenever I cannot find the cats, I take a peep inside your hut and there they are, fast asleep. Pop told me, he remembers when I used to make huts as a little girl. I used our clotheshorse and old sheets. I remember having picnic's with my dollies in my huts.
ReplyDeleteLove Mum.
